Shelf brackets

Furniture design is one of my passions, and these brackets are one of my favorite things I’ve designed so far. I was going for a low profile, but strong bracket, with a signature element to it, while keeping the design as minimal as possible. I also wanted them to have a rough, industrial feel. Having done a ton of shelf hanging in the past, I wanted them to be designed with ease of installation in mind. In my opinion, these brackets meet all the furniture design criteria I set out to achieve:

  1. They are unobtrusive and minimal looking since they are tight to the bottom of the shelf
  2. They are made with 1/4″ steel plate and square tubing which makes for a very strong structure
  3. The point at the bottom of the bracket has the same shape as the bottom of the CGR logo, hence the CGR signature bracket
